Hongdae Nanta Performance

Enjoy the Nanta show, a favorite among Hongdae residents. 

This non-verbal performance comically depicts the bizarre events that unfold in a unique kitchen, using percussion and acrobatics.

Performance Features

Nonverbal Performance: The story is conveyed through rhythm, gestures, and facial expressions, making it easy for foreigners to understand.

Samulnori Rhythm: The harmony of traditional Korean samulnori rhythms and modern performance stands out.

Kitchenware: Kitchenware like knives, cutting boards, and pots are transformed into instruments, creating unique sounds.

Audience Participation: The audience can participate in a dumpling stacking game or create rhythms together, offering a variety of entertaining activities.

Location: Hongdae Nanta Theater (29 Yanghwa-ro 16-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul, Hongik Mall).

Showtimes: Varies depending on the performance date, but typically runs on weekend afternoons and weekday evenings. (Reservations accepted up to two hours before the performance, no cancellations allowed afterward.)

Admission: Suitable for ages 12 months and up (children under 36 months must be accompanied by a guardian; children 36 months and older must have a ticket).
